Nested right the top end of trendy North Bondi is Speedos Cafe, which was voted the Number 1 most instagrammable cafe in the world by Big Seven Travel. The interior design and ambiance of the restaurant are open, bright, and vibrant. This complements the cafe’s location, which is conveniently right in front of the iconic Bondi Beach.
The menu also consists of some of the most beautiful and colorful foods you’ll ever see. They cater to all dietary requirements with vegan, raw, and gluten-free options available.
After perusing the expansive menu, we ordered the Acai Bowl and the Bondi Rescue breakfast.
Speedos Cafe Acai Bowl
The Acai bowl is a hollowed-out pineapple husk and topped off with burnt fig, almond granola, seasonal fruit, and peanut butter. They even gave the pineapple husk a “face” consisting of blueberry eyes and a raspberry smile.
Dishes like this are one of the reasons why this is the world’s most instagrammable cafe.
Speedos Cafe Bondi Rescue Breakfast
The Bondi Rescue consists of a bagel topped off with beautifully scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, pesto, avocado, asparagus, spinach, and my favorite breakfast item, halloumi.
We found the food fresh and delicious. Make sure you bring a big appetite with you as the servings are quite generous as well.
The customers primarily consist of surfers, beachgoers, and the casual weekend brunch crowd. The laid-back atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing views make Speedos a top choice for your brunch date this weekend.
